THANK YOU !

SINCE I WAS 7 YEARS OLD I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO MAKE THE INVISIBLE VISIBLE. I LOVE TAKING INTANGIBLE IDEAS AND BRINGING THEM TO REALITY. IT STARTED WITH PENCILS AND PAPER, THEN AT THE AGE OF 18 I UPGRADED TO THE MORE COMPLEX MACHINE: THE CAMERA. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A DIFFERENT MACHINE THE DREAM HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SAME: MAKE IMAGES. I GRADUATED FROM ART CENTER COLLEGE OF DESIGN AROUND THE AGE OF 24, AND SHORTLY THERE AFTER, I READ THE BOOK "THE ARTIST'S WAY”, A GUIDE FOR THOSE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT TAKING THEIR INTERESTS TO THE NEXT LEVEL. THERE WAS ONE CHAPTER THAT HAD TO DO WITH SAYING THANKS. IT SUGGESTED SAYING THANK YOU TO SOMEONE WHO HAS HELPED YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY TO BECOMING AN ARTIST. AT THE TIME, THE THOUGHT OF SAYING THANK YOU TO SOMEONE SCARED ME. I THINK I WAS SCARED BECAUSE OF IT'S RAW HONESTY. IN ORDER TO SPARE MYSELF THE PAIN I DIDN'T SAY THANK YOU TO THE WELL DESERVED TEACHERS AND MENTORS THAT I HAD AT THAT TIME. I REGRET THIS. MANY YEARS HAVE PASSED AND I CAN NOW SEE HOW LIFE WORKS. IT IS MADE UP OF A POSITIVE NETWORK OF PEOPLE THAT SHIFTS IN MICRO-MOVEMENTS, TOGETHER TOWARDS WHATEVER IT IS THAT WE COLLECTIVELY DESIRE. LAST YEAR I WAS REMINDED OF THE IMPORTANCE OF SAYING THANK YOU. I WAS PUBLICLY THANKED ON INSTAGRAM FOR GIVING SOMEONE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE A MODEL ON SET. NOT A BIG DEAL FOR ME BUT IT MEANT SOMETHING TO THEM. I THOUGHT THIS WAS A REALLY AMAZING GESTURE ON THEIR PART. HE DIDN'T HAVE TO GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO DO THIS. I ADMIRED HIS FERVENT HONESTY. IT INSTANTLY MADE ME THINK OF ALL THE PEOPLE THAT NUDGED ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON MY PATH. MY BEST FRIEND JOANNA ALWAYS SAYS "TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK." SHE IS RIGHT. THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE HELPED IN MAKING MY DREAM WORK. I HOPE WE GET TO MAKE THE INVISIBLE VISIBLE, TOGETHER AGAIN SOON.
